Great atmosphere. Great music. Great beer. Great tasting food. With that said, I'm not sure who is supplying restaurants with fish for the fish and chips but, like other restaurants I've been in the past few months, the fish has shrank to 2 little squares of cod. Put them together and it doesn't even equal a full piece of fish for a proper fish and chips. What happened to the long pieces of fish you and others had in the past? It's really disappointing, especially paying $20+ for fish the size you'd get at a school lunch. That's my only gripe, and I'm seeing it across the board at restaurants in columbus atm. Loved the feel and atmosphere of this place. I can only imagine how exciting it might be to watch a big soccer match here. The beers and mixed drinks we ordered were good and fairly priced, but I was disappointed with the price of pours for some of the rarer whiskeys (don 't get me wrong, I get it. Those bottles aren 't cheap, but still). The food was good not great. We ordered the Fried Pickles, Fish Chips, Chicken Boxty Quesadilla, Guinness Mac Cheese, and Lamb French dip. Everyone ate, nobody complained, but the best we could come up with to describe our meals was It 's good . The chicken boxty quesadilla was probably the highlight.
A must visit. Excellent customer service- my server meet all my expectations for a group of 14. Everyone was happy with the food and drinks. My Shepherd Pie was very good. The service, food and drinks and bill was provided in a timely manner. Kiddos to the Fado Irish Pub team!!!
