We enjoyed a wonderful afternoon at Fair Oaks Farms' Farmhouse for lunch. Although we faced a 45-minute wait, it gave us the chance to explore the beautiful surroundings. The backyard and creek behind the restaurant were breathtaking, especially with the wedding setup adding a charming ambiance perfect for special events. The market featured a variety of apples and other treats, though prices tended to be a bit high. Our meal was delicious, and the service was exceptional. This is a delightful and enjoyable place, but you can easily see everything in a single day. The cow tour was captivating, particularly watching the milking process in the rotisserie. However, the pig tour had a more subdued and serious vibe; it was still intriguing, but I think we would choose to skip it on a return visit. The farm also had some play areas, but the kids grew bored after a few hours. Exploring the orchards might have kept us engaged for a longer time. The farmhouse served a delicious dinner, but be ready to wait at least half an hour for a table.
I've been visiting this gas station for years—it's a regular spot for me, my friends, and now my family too. While the ice cream is a tasty treat, the true gem is the dog park. It's peaceful, well-maintained, and we've always had a great experience there.
