While I typically opt for sandwiches and salads, Fairchilds is not just that; it's also a full-service butcher shop and a wine shop, complete with a curated selection of beer and wine, as well as various gift items. You can call ahead to place an order, which many customers choose to do, but I personally prefer to place my order in person and wait for my sandwiches to ensure they’re as fresh as possible when I take them home.
I have been a loyal customer for many years, and I couldn't be happier with the new owner who now offers a selection of meats. Their veal chops are truly exceptional! The fresh ricotta cheese is unmatched as well. The staff remains helpful and friendly, making every visit enjoyable. I'm delighted that I can just drive a few minutes to pick up everything I need for a complete dinner!
Love this place! Their sandwiches are always delicious but mainly I’m loving the direction they took since the pandemic hit. It’s so convenient that I can run there for last minute things that I forgot to get from the supermarket or something special for dinner from their butcher. The staff is great and they really go above and beyond for their customers!
Wow! The former owners of the historic Pals Cabin have truly outdone themselves with this deli. They offer a fantastic selection of sandwiches, hearty meals, and a variety of specialty cheeses and meats. The food is incredibly fresh, and the service is friendly. I absolutely adore this place! I make it a point to visit whenever I can. Be sure to try their sandwiches; they're all fantastic! And don't forget to grab some Hammonds candy while you're there!
