We came to this restaurant for a work event and I ordered the Asian chicken salad, which I found to be extremely uncomfortable. Upon contacting the restaurant, I learned from the chef that the chicken had been frozen two days prior, cooked in the morning, and reheated later that night when I ordered it. I became dehydrated to the point where I thought I needed medical attention, but when I expressed my concerns at the restaurant, the cook did not even apologize. Went here on a quiet Sunday night , all ordered , hubby and son got there meal, no problem , 5 minutes later had to ask where my meal was . Obviously was forgotten about. Meanwhile could here chefs and kitchen staff singing and mucking about in the kitchen . They apologised and said it won't be long . Another 10 mins then finally arrived . After a few mouthfuls , thought yuck , this is not great , after closer inspection realised the schnitzel I'd ordered was very burnt and covered with very thick gravy. This place has to be discovered by others apart from locals!Was taken to the Falcon by a relation living in Echuca and it would seem that even though the highway is right out the front the only people who are dining there are locals! The food was great, the staff were friendly and although it was a Thursday night, the place was only half full and I was surprised given the food was so good! It is a little out of town, but seriously, only a ten minute drive from Echuca central. Just head toward Shepparton on the Murray Valley Highway and it is there - by itself - on the northern side of the highway!

The hotel is located on a busy highway its outdoor lighting (only the feeling of the presence of the road) can be found...from 7 a.m. Owners should really consult the management as bad reputation for making a hard sale.

I understand the new people took over the kitchen the week before we visited. All the food we had, and looking around what was being delivered, they're doing a great job. The steaks were HUGE, the pasta was really really tasty and plenty of it.
We were a group of 18 who arrived for lunch, all meals arrived in good time of order, staff were friendly and efficient. Food was abundant and tasty. No one in our group had complaints
Called in for a beer and people were friendly as were the staff enjoyed it immensely. Beer was cold, had a pool table and juke box fun afternoon.
