Die ehemals gute "Brauhausküche" unter alter Regie ist bestenfalls noch auf "Frittenbudenniveau" (z.B. Champignonssauce mit Dosenpilzen und angedickter Mehlschwitze, Schnitzel aus Formfleisch und zubetoniert, sorry paniert...geht gar nicht).All das wäre, sofern man mit dieser "Qualität" leben kann, kein Problem. Problematisch wird es dann, wenn unter der Rigide des neuen Inhabers eine gehobene Küche ausgelobt wird (erwartet man das in einem Brauhaus?) und das der Wirklichkeit nicht standhalten kann. Der Service ist gut und freundlich, das Essen ohne Beanstandung. Ich habe dort Schweinshaxe und Steak gegessen, was beides hervorragend zubereitet war. Vor allem das Steak perfekt auf den Punkt und mit Folienkartoffel anstatt Pommes oder Kroketten, was nicht selbstverständlich ist, wenn man sich nicht in einem Lokal der gehobenen Preisklasse befindet. Preis/Leistungs Verhältnis top, da geh ich wieder hin.

our first meal after arrival in Germany after a long flight we went next to our hotel to this regional tariff restaurant. I didn't feel like eating, so I had chicken soup. my man had the full monty, a nice carving and then a few wonderful beers. we were both satisfied with our decisions, although, how often, I found the suppe a little too salty.
