We liked going there, but the last time in a large group the colleague had to give her meat back because it was so tough. Mine was also pretty streaky, but then I cut around it and just left the silverskin/tendon in the plate. When I was asked when I was clearing away whether it was tasty, I just said that I had already given my feedback. Then the boss came with a piece of meat with a nice fat edge and wanted to make it clear to me that my piece was cut off from this piece. He told me that I had no idea. We have been dining at The Falken ever since we moved to the area. This large pub restaurant offers a wide menu with a mix of traditional Swiss dishes, European staples and American belly fillers. There is something for everyone, great quality meats and fish on the hot stone, burgers, salads and weekly specials. The service is excellent with friendly staff who remember you and always make time to check on you. The atmosphere is friendly and they are open later than most other places in town. They are only open from 17.00 and closed on Sundays.
Gute Auswahl an sehr leckeren Speisen, Bier und Whisky. Alles was ich bislang probiert hatte, hat durchweg sehr gut geschmeckt. Super freundliches Personal und ein toller Service. Ich komme gerne immer wieder und hoffe das ich noch viele Schulungen in Frauenfeld erleben darf.
