The food was disappointing, and the service was even worse. We were celebrating my son's 17th birthday at his favorite restaurant—Famous Dave's, which he has visited every year for the past 12 years. Unfortunately, this will be his last visit, as he has vowed never to return. At his age, he recognized that we were ignored and received overcooked, bland meals that were served cold. While my drink from the bar was enjoyable, it didn't make up for the overall experience.
A great solution for an unexpected craving for pork BBQ! The 2 Meat Combo let me add fried chicken as a delightful extra, and it was the best I've tasted in the area. The collard greens, Wilbur's beans, and corn muffins were also delicious. Plus, the portion sizes were just right.
The Iris Down Home Fried Chicken platter and the Wilbur beans were excellent. However, I didn't receive my coleslaw. Restaurants must pay close attention to orders if they want to succeed with DoorDash deliveries.
