The best thing about our dining experience at Famous Dave's was the service provided by our server. I wish I could remember his name but he made sure our needs were met as customers. He would always come at the right time to refill our drinks and offer anything we needed. We enjoyed the potato chips served as an appetizer and he offered us another plate after I said how good they were. He even provided my husband a to go soda cup when we were leaving. We took our teenage boys for their birthday dinners. We ordered ribs, salad, sides and dessert. Ribs were delicious and worth the trip across town for us. Mashed potatoes were a bit garlicky, but still enjoyable. Dessert was excellent but we were too full to eat much (generous sizes). Either leave room or share. Upon walking in, my older son commented he could already tell he was going to like this place. Service was top-notch. Overall, a great experience.
This was my first visit to a Famous Dave's. Great first impression. We shared an appetizer of burnt ends, and then I had a side salad with a tasty honey mustard. My entree was a three-meat platter with rib ends, a hot link and pulled port, plus sides of beans and a corn muffin. Outstanding all around. Our server was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, giving us his recommendations. A fun evening.
that was cold! and we had a reservation through the open table, but when we arrived we had to wait almost 30 minutes and our waiter was too busy. he brought my baked potato 10 min before the rest of my dinner that was cold when he brought it.

we stopped for lunch and it was pleasant. good service, good eating and good ambiente in a casual environment. that was my first time to a famous dave’s and I was satisfied.
The food was very good, but the boy was cold inside. Service was also good! Ordered a raspberry but it definitely tasted like a regular tea that was not cool!
The service is five stars, but the food is terrible.
My ribs were so dried and stiff. Then my chilli was so freaking salty.
