The dining experience was disappointing, and the service was even worse. We celebrated a birthday at my favorite restaurant – he turned 17 and has been enjoying Famous Dave's every year for the past 12 years – but that will be the last time, as he vowed never to return. At 17, he recognized that we were overlooked, and the food was overcooked and served cold. My drink from the bar was good, but that couldn't make up for the overall experience.
A great solution for an unexpected craving for pork BBQ! The 2 Meat Combo let me add fried chicken as a delightful extra, and it was the best I've tasted in the area. The collard greens, Wilbur's beans, and corn muffins were also delicious. Plus, the portion sizes were just right.
