We were astounded by the extensive selection of dishes on the menu and decided to give it a try. I love Indian food and live in Staten Island, but unfortunately we don't have any good Indian restaurants here. So, I traveled all the way to New Jersey to try out this place. I ordered a dish that the chef recommended and I must say, it was delicious! I like my Indian food spicy and this place did not disappoint me. The owner was very kind and even made the dish extra spicy for me, which I loved. I was sweating while eating but it was worth it. The owner even gave me his cell number for feedback, which shows great customer service. we have come to visit new york, last minute booking found an airbnb in elizabeth, nj. came over this restaurant that my wife found and people! I say these people are so nice and there was something more beautiful. After so long, I found a restaurant that serves food that taste like indies, but cleaner. we were 3 nights in new jersey and each night we have ordered from them what that says! Conclusion is that eating was delicious and cheap and the amount of food was enough to feed 5 adults and then some. thank all and I hope and pray that their business will grow ten times more than it is. Very very slow in making orders. A $70 order should not take 40 minutes to make. Stay away from this place.The rude owner responded below by saying that I was out of my mind. My review is real unlike the many paid reviews you have.The poor hostile attitude of the owner is noted in her response. I am sure people will judge for themselves. I have a habit of reporting businesses that are badly run just like yours. Get busy making orders instead of wasting time here.
Famous Dhaba's masala fries, butter chicken burrito, Aloo Tikki Burrito and paneer tikka pizza was yummy!! Loved the food and will definitely stop by again for more delicious cuisines whenever we stop by in Carteret. I regularly order food from Famous Dhaba. This restaurant serves fresh and delicious food. The staff is wonderful and specially the people who prepare the food, I think they have the Best skills to bring the taste in the food. Very impressed. Thank you so much.
The best Indian food you can find! Super good, the people are so welcoming and so sweet! We have catered from them for 2 events and everyone has loved it and doesn’t stop talking about it! I would recommend this to everyone! Love love their butter chicken!

I tried Indian food for the first time from here and I could say, 10 out of 10! The food was amazing and had a lot of flavor. The lady at the counter was very nice food was ready in 5-10 minutes! I will definitely go back for sure
