Famous Shawarma is absolutely fantastic! The best falafel I have had in many, many years. You can definitely tell that they are homemade. The gyro was amazing; with hot, juicy gyro meat, lots of tatziki sauce, fresh pita, and beautifully garnished with tomato and lettuce. My meal also included a side of pickled peppers and two delicious olives. This is the real deal! The last time I had Greek food this good was in New York 15 years ago. I almost didn't go to Famous Shawarma because it's in the mall food court, but I'm so glad I overcame that prejudice. I would have missed out on the best Greek food in North Carolina, and possibly even in other states as well. Thank you Gyro Guys!
What a wonderful experience! My husband and I had lunch here today and it was amazing. Despite being a small, no-frills restaurant with only a few tables, the food was delicious and the staff was excellent. It was my husband's 33rd birthday and the waitress went out of her way to take photos of us and even brought him two surprise desserts for free! The portions were generous, the food was well-seasoned, fresh, and healthy, making it a great option for those with special dietary needs such as vegan or ketogenic diets. We will definitely be coming back and considering Famous Shawarma for our next takeout meal.
What a hidden gem! A colleague at my workplace suggested this restaurant and we all loved it! I ordered the chicken shwarma combo sandwich with lentil soup. The chicken shwarma was absolutely delicious. However, the lentil soup was disappointing and I would not recommend it; I wish I had tried a salad instead. Despite that, I would definitely return because the meat was incredibly tender and delicious!
I had an amazing experience at this restaurant. The food was well seasoned and of great quality. I decided to try this place on a whim and it has become one of my favorites. I attended culinary school for 4 years, so I know good food when I taste it. I love trying new places, and I must say this one is definitely a must-try. I would give the food a 5 out of 5 rating.

What a great find! The dressing on the Greek Fattoush Salad was so tasty! My husband and I split the Saji Sandwich (chicken) and hummus, and both were amazing. The two gentlemen who worked there were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was very clean. We will definitely return - this might just become our new go-to spot on this side of town!
I was expecting the food I normally ordered to be delicious but I was pleasantly surprised to find that their fried chicken special was the best I had in a while!! I even had to call and tell them to consider leaving it on their regular menu.
One of my favorite restaurants in all of Michigan. I've ordered nearly everything off the takeout menu and every dish is impeccable and flavorful. The Falafel, Hummus and Meat shawarma are all incredible.
This restaurant always provides excellent service and delicious food. It's definitely one of my favorite places to eat. I would rate the food 5 out of 5.
