Farlows On The Water

Our first time here and we were very impressed. We were looking for recommendations for my moms 84th birthday dinner. So many people suggested this place and it did not disappoint! Our server, Roxanne, was knowledgeable and friendly and had made some great suggestions for good and drinks. The entrees were absolutely delicious as well as the appetizers . Drinks were great and everything was served in a timely fashion . Food was fresh and hot and we all had leftovers! I would definitely recommend this restaurant for your next night out or special occasion.

I seldom leave less than 5* reviews. But I wanted to say that Farlows has decent food which is just too overpriced. We've been several times and have noticed portions decreasing and prices increasing. Farlows has mostly scratch food, which is good in comparison to the frozen Sysco food found at many tiki bars in the area, but ... yeah, we have a shortage of fine dining in Englewood so if you want a nicer meal with a decent kitchen, sure. But be prepared to pay a premium.

Food was very good and plentiful. I felt like the service was a bit slow for 3:00 in the afternoon. However, they were friendly and attentive once they got to us. One of the best seafood restaurants in the area! Great outdoor seating next to the water.
