We spent the night at the Hotel Nyack on a roadtrip and the excellent reviews for FARM led me to make a reservation. I got a little nervous when there wasn’t a ton of other seated tables in their playfully chic dining room, but it was a summer Wednesday night and hopefully that was a fluke because their food was excellent! We had: pretzel dusted calamari, burrata salad, loaded homemade tostada chip nachos, lobster ravioli, rigatoni Bolognese, and salmon subbing the seared Brussels sprouts for the jasmine rice. Absolutely terrible! The server was the worst experience we've had. We had just sat down when he immediately asked for our orders, so we asked for a bit more time. He returned just two minutes later. We ordered brunch items and coffee, including a first course of fruit and soup, but everything was brought out on a cart at once, as if it were room service. The server mentioned they were struggling in the kitchen due to two events the night before, which was not our concern until it affected our meal. I had really hoped our experience would improve from our last visit, but sadly, it didn’t. It’s disappointing because the venue itself is really cool, yet both the food and service fell short.
The restaurant boasts a lovely ambiance both inside and outside. While the food was delicious, I found it to be on the pricey side, and the portion sizes were quite small. As a vegetarian, I noticed that when I requested modifications to the menu, they still charged the same price even though the dish had fewer ingredients. On a positive note, the service was outstanding; the staff was friendly and incredibly attentive. They were particularly accommodating regarding my son’s food allergy. Don't miss their daily happy hour from 4 to 6 PM, where you can enjoy regular drink prices—wines for $7 and $8 beers.
Surprisingly for a hotel restaurant the food was very good. I had the Waygu burger medium rate and that is how it came. My wife had the short rib risotto and it also was very good. If you are staying at Hotel Nyack you would not be disappointed

I expected the outdoor seating to be as enjoyable as the indoor seating, but it felt more like a spot for swimmers to grab a quick bite and take a break. Bench picnic tables? Seriously? This was such a letdown for a birthday celebration.
The nachos, quesadillas and the salad was delicious. The cocktails were good not watered down. We had margaritas, gin and tonic and Hudson breeze
This is the best fine dining in the area, including Savannah and HHI. Innovative menu, amazing bar, great service.
Great food and excellent service! Very nice ambiance inside and the outdoor seating area is really nice too.
