I thought I would give this place another try since I haven 't been there since COVID hit. Great! Most of the salad combinations that they list on their board are not my cup of tea, but I do like the Buddha bowl and buffalo bill. Smoothies are great too (I like to get cacao, banana, and peanut butter; don't judge me! . Root beer/cream soda, and coconut black tea are interesting drinks you can get in a refillable cup. Staff is generally friendly, if not a little bit transactional. Prices are somewhat expensive, but I feel generally worth it compared to other options in the area. Spacious and clean seating, was pretty empty in the afternoon when we went in. The bathroom is also pretty clean but no changing table. Plenty of healthy menu options but I wasn't sure if I could order a custom bowl or not so I just got a Thai Warm Bowl. It was lukewarm at best, neither hot nor cold, didn't taste like much. Honestly it was disappointing, very plant-y taste, nothing particularly Thai at all. I'm not sure if whoever made it did it incorrectly? The sauce was very watery and just unappealing, maybe the temperature made it worse. My brother recommended it and said it was delicious but my experience was not the same. Staff seemed nice enough, gave us some sauces as asked for.

This place came through when I really didn't wanna have to stray too far from Woodlawn for a decent nutritious meal. The giving thanks bowl reminded me of the way I like to eat at home the food starts out nice, neat and separate but quickly turns into a delicious mush of flavors. It's usu the only way my sweet potatoes end up with gravy on them, but Farmhouse did it on purpose and it worked! The Californian poke bowl was also ridiculous. While not ostensibly a Korean dish, it hit all those spicy, tart places on my tongue, esp with the pickled ginger on top. Might be the best bowl I've ever had. Even the brownie was hittin'. Thick and chocolatey without being gooey.
The pricing at this restaurant is deceptive. The manager is extremely rude. The manager seems to believe that a small sign at the register's waist level is sufficient notice of a nearly 20% price increase. An $11 salad bowl ends up costing about $13 before tax. Look at their responses to reviews on Yelp. The manager has referred to at least four unhappy customers as "Karen" and has been dismissive towards other negative reviews.
I visit this restaurant three times a week and it is the best part of my week. My favorite dish to order is the buffalo bill wrap with pulled pork. The food is always fresh and tasty, and the staff is excellent. They are attentive and make me feel well taken care of. Give them a try; you won't be disappointed.
My coworker recommended this place a while ago, and I should have checked it out sooner! I got a poke bowl and the food was so fresh and flavorful. Definitely the best meal I’ve had in a while. My house is within walking distance so I’m definitely going to be coming back.

My son and I discovered this place through Grubhub. We eat a salad at least once a week for dinner. We literally stopped ordering salads from a well known restaurant when we had a salad from here. Absolutely delicious. We both look forward to it weekly.
