We went here twice during a recent stay in Gumpoldskirchen - and would have returned for a third time, had it not been for the fact that they are closed on Mondays. The food portions are generous and the quality is excellent. Prices are not as steep as some reviews have suggested, even if you factor in the additional cost of accompaniments such as chips/salads (which are priced separately in most cases). We had chicken 'Gordon Bleu', fried chicken livers as well as their burger. I preferred the first two, but that is largely a matter of personal taste. There are some good dry wines on the list - at moderate prices. We liked the Welschriesling best.We were lucky with the weather and sat in the lovely garden. However, the interior rooms also look inviting. Service was very friendly indeed and their (free) Wifi is superb. The only (slight) downside is that they do not take credit cards.

Some good and very reasonably priced wines, the food traditional fare. Nice atmosphere when you can get outside seating. On the night we were there long waits for food.

Traditional Austrian food, and fantastic wine in the garden. The garden is cosy and offers a shady place during the hot Austrian summers. Try the blunzengröstl.

Good traditional food and reasonably priced wines. Service was really nice, I enjoyed the seasonal special. Would go again for simple dinner.

Went here for a late drink. Both service and wine was excellent. Can definitely recommend this place.
