I ordered a regular cheesy fries, and my wife opted for a plain hamburger. The cheesy fries were served hot and generously covered in cheese, an excellent portion for $5.98 (including tax). The hamburger was a great deal at $2.29 (tax included). We also got two Pepsis for 99 cents each, loaded with ice and served with actual plastic straws, not the flimsy cardboard ones.

It used to be a go-to spot for my son and his teenage friends during their road trips, and it also served as an affordable fast food option when our kids were younger and finances were tight. The pickle fries are just as delicious as I remembered! Although prices have gone up due to inflation, it's still a more budget-friendly choice compared to the major chain restaurants. The unique menu items, particularly the pickle fries, really distinguish Fast Eddie's from its competitors.
Fast Eddie's certainly doesn't live up to its name when it comes to speed, and they only provide one napkin to manage the mess from your burger. A cold cup of fries and a machine-made milkshake make for a meal you'll likely want to forget. There's no need to hurry over; they won't be in a rush to serve you either. In fact, the staff member was caught reading a book when I tried to place my order and directed me to a different window instead.
We experienced the worst service today. We requested a burger without cheese because of an allergy, but the staff clearly wasn't paying attention. When we confirmed at the window that there was no cheese, the employee became visibly annoyed. To make matters worse, his upset manager came over and YELLED at us through the window, telling us to order correctly next time, even though we specifically asked for no cheese at the speaker.

Fast Eddies has always prioritized affordability over quality, but it seems to have slipped even further recently. The basic burgers resemble cardboard and contain little bits of fat. The once-delicious crazy fries have been altered to a different chili that is now a bland, paste-like sauce. The pickle fries are still decent, but only about half the time—they're best when the fries are fresh and properly seasoned.
We spent a considerable amount of money on a 10-pack of cheeseburgers, and to our disappointment, 8 of them were missing their patties. When we returned to complain, we were told they were sure they had included patties on all of them. Why would I waste my time going back? The food was terrible, the service was lacking, and we will never return to this restaurant.

Unfortunately, the burger was bland and lacking in flavor, and the fries were soggy; the chili wasn't very good either. While the staff were incredibly friendly, that alone isn't enough to entice me to return.
