A few months ago, I visited New York City and sampled various bagels in Brooklyn and Manhattan. One of my favorite finds was a lox everything bagel sandwich with chive cream cheese. Recently, I had a craving for this sandwich and discovered Fat Ducks Deli and Bakery in Seattle. On Christmas morning, feeling tired from the night before, I didn't want to cook breakfast and just wanted that delicious sandwich. My partner found Fat Ducks on Uber Eats and I ordered the Duck Lox on an everything bagel with chive cream cheese, topped with tomatoes, onions, and cucumber. I had a sudden craving for a brownie, and stumbled upon Fat Ducks through a keyword search. I ended up ordering a brownie, a chocolate peanut butter bar, a shortbread caramel and chocolate bar, and a lemon bar on doordash. Each dessert was delightfully sticky and moist, which is exactly how I like my baked goods! I was in heaven! The desserts arrived chilled and were generously portioned. When I saw my name and a little smiley face drawn on the bag, along with a "happy Saturday!" message and bonus treats inside, it truly made my night! It was a cute and unexpected touch. I would definitely order from them again and cannot wait to visit their restaurant in person!
I would go to great lengths for this deli and its staff. We have been ordering from them since the start of the pandemic and I don't plan on stopping anytime soon. They always include little treats like chocolates in our orders, and even went as far as calling to apologize when they had to cancel one of our orders. Their bagel sandwiches are top-notch and so are their baked goods. The lemon bars, carrot cake, and brownies are all fantastic. I can't speak highly enough of this place and the people who work there.
I have always enjoyed visiting this bakery and interacting with the owner, who was always kind and generous, often including extra treats in our order for free. Sadly, it appears that they have closed down, as the sign is no longer up and the store was being emptied when I passed by this afternoon. I hope the owner is doing well, as she was like a grandmother to me.

I first visited Fat Duck Deli when I moved across the street. The owner was very sweet and always gave me extra candy, even when I just came in for a lemon bar (my favorite). She made everyone feel welcome, especially the students in the neighborhood. It's heartbreaking to hear that she has passed away. I will miss her greatly.
I noticed the restaurant sign was closed and staff were cleaning up the place. Curious, I decided to go in and see how the owner was doing. Sadly, I found out that she had passed away and the restaurant was closed indefinitely. I will miss her greatly, as she always used to wave at me when I passed by on my walks.
The owner is adorable. I went there to buy a latte and left with a latte and a couple of bags of bagels, courtesy of the owner. She's so generous! And the little treats, brownies and bars are delicious.
Amazing service and delicious food! Bagel sandwiches are my favorite. Jaclyn is so sweet and nice you just don't find many people like her anymore. 10/10 would recommend!

Had the Donald and it was an amazingly messy and delicious breakfast sandwich. Definitely not something you should eat every day but I wish I could, highly recommend!
