The food is ALWAYS great! I feel like you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. My problem was the service. We were “greeted” by a very busy server. She never mentioned her name, brought us our drinks, forgot about us, then brought us our menus. I observed her running around the entire restaurant as if she was the only one working. The first time I ordered here i noticed how much food you get for such a great price. Since then, i have eaten here 3x/wk. I started off with the basics: bacon, eggs, and a biscuit. The biscuits are particularly fresh. Crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside. This location has not been up to par with the other Fat Spoons that I’ve been to. The past 4 times the food has been cold, dry, rubbery, and overall not good. The staff is not attentive at all and is more concerned with doing their side work to leave on time than tending to the customers.
Me and my boyfriend stopped here for lunch. We got poboys, and they were both excellent! Our service was amazing and didn’t wait long for the food at all.

Easy place to find. Very friendly but a little slow serving. The Shrip Grits was over the top, would definately go back
I had a delicious hamburger it was huge and it was very very good I would recommend this little restaurant.
All the ladies there were so nice and the food was excellent, the biscuits are the best!!!
