Favale’s Trattoria is truly a hidden gem. This place may be pricy, but every ingredient is fresh. My half-Italian grandfather said quote “this is the most fresh antipasto I’ve ever had.” The antipasto had very fresh mozzarella, aged parmigiano, dry sausage, artichoke hearts, roasted peppers, and olives. The pizza was perfection. Light and thin crust but not crunchy, fresh mozzarella, and rich tomato sauce. If they ask you “margarita style or plain,” say margarita style because it’s ten times better. We were regular customers for take out but after last night, I have to say that we will not order there again. Called order in, they advised 25 minutes. I went after 15 mins and the place was empty with my order sitting ready. Took order home and the sandwich had no mozzarella (which is the reason we ordered the sandwich)! They offered to replace and made me sit 20 minutes for another sandwich in an empty restaurant!!! Also, last time I ordered penne, sausage and broccoli rabe I received penne vodka with sausage and broccoli rabe...what happened to this place???
We are regular customers, both in the restaurant and take-out/delivery. Put in an order two nights ago for pickup, but they told us it would be an hour, so I cancelled. Put in an order tonight for delivery, and they said it would be 30 minutes. It's now nearly ninety minutes later and still no food. I called and they told me it would be another 10 minutes before the food left the restaurant, but no apology.
Since they switched to a thin cardboard crust for their pizza, we no longer go there. My daughter gave it another shot about a week ago, but she found the wings to be tasteless and the pizza terrible. It's such a shame because we used to really enjoy their food and appreciated it as a nice change of pace for dining out.

My fiancé and I stumbled upon this restaurant while heading to the Catskills, and we couldn't be happier that we did! We found it randomly on Google, and it was a great find. The service was outstanding, and the pizza was absolutely incredible! We will definitely be back.
If you like authentic pies that are full of fresh ingredients, or new spins on specialty pizzas, this is your place. Located in a tiny strip plaza on Main Street in Ramsey, this quiet little pizzeria is packed full of good food and great service.

The pride of Ramsey!! One bite everyone knows the rules, 8.8 slice. Gasp, lift yourselfs up off the ground. This is an absolutely killer coal fired artisan pizza, definitely recommend!

I order delivery here all the time. The food is great. The service is also amazing. The delivery man who always delivers our food is truly the kindest person ever.
As someone who was born and raised in NYC, I can honestly say I haven't tasted pizza this incredible since my childhood. This place is truly a hidden gem.
