This restaurant reminds me of the chili and dry posole my grandma used to make, except when we visited family in New Mexico, where she was born. I still cook her traditional New Mexican recipes that have been passed down for the last 200 years! Everyone loved her cooking, and to this day, no one can compare. I’ve managed to replicate a few of her recipes, and people always ask what kind of chili I use because they think it’s so good. I remember her making beans with chicos too, but I haven’t been able to find those, so I’m unsure if your company offers them. I’ve attached some pictures of the chili rojo for chicken mole, chili caribe for menudo, and chili rojo with hamburger for burritos.

I miss Fernandez Chili Company seasonings big time! I moved from Colorado to Spokane, Washington 7 years ago and haven't had any really good Mexican food since I got here. I had a killer chili recipe when I lived in Colorado, but it requires Fernandez ingredients. Nothing else comes anywhere close. King's Soopers used to carry it in Colorado. None of them here, but Kroger owns King Soopers, so I went to a Kroger-owned grocery store here and cannot find it. I may have to try to buy it direct from Fernandez, if they will send it to me. If you like good Mexican food, you won't find any out here. Stay in Colorado.

I absolutely love their products! Having been born and raised in Colorado Springs, my family has relied on their products for years. Whenever I visit, I make sure to stock up on the red chili and the caribe. I’m running low on chili now, and nothing else even comes close! It's truly the best! I really miss being able to easily get it at King Soopers whenever I needed it. Now that I live in California, I've tried many different red chilis, but nothing compares—I'm so used to Fernandez Chili! Is there any way to order it online? I've looked everywhere but can't seem to find where to buy it.

I used to really love this chili, but lately it has changed significantly. It's now a very dark red color and has become incredibly hard—almost like a rock! I find myself having to use a fork and a mallet just to break it up and turn it into powder. I'm really disappointed, and after years of being a loyal customer, I will be looking for new options! Blaire is a difficult person to work for; she tends to be dishonest in order to make herself appear better. While the products she sells are of good quality, her character leaves much to be desired. From what I gather, her parents were wonderful and honest individuals.

You've been the preferred choice over so many. Have you been pondering selling wholesale and shipping out of state? Possibly creating a website? I have folks I purchase for our of state where you can cut the middle man out and just do direct profit.

The salsa brava and taco salsa are amazing! My friends in Arizona absolutely love them! You won't find anything around here that matches the flavor! I also really enjoy the menudo spice for the posole!
