Delicious! A fabulous experience! Stop wasting your money at lesser Italian establishments; although the prices are higher the quality is superior to any other Restaurants in the area. If you want an intimate evening with quality food this is your spot. The decorations are tasteful, the lighting romantic, and the dining room does not echo. The food was FABULOUS! (I cannot spell most of the dishes, but I will try my best to explain in my simple knowledge). My eating companion and I enjoyed the caprese, salad wedge, seasoned bread with marinara (came with our meal), gnocchi in cream sauce, and chocolate mousse for dessert. Regardless of my inability to name the dishes; I can say my skills in tasting them are impeccable. The mozzarella, oil, and tomato on the caprese was incredible a perfect blending of flavors. The mozzarella alone was wonderful so fresh. The seasoned bread was delightful. The gnocchi was firm not soggy and surrounded in a flavorful, yet not overpowering cream sauce. The dessert was so good the hazelnuts perfectly resting on top, the mousse that was chocolate, but not so rich you can't handle it. We ordered decaf coffee to go along with our dessert it was a perfect pairing. I literally felt like I had left the United States on a vacation for a period of time. The servers are talented. They literally clear your plate and hand you a dessert menu without interrupting your conversation. I wore jeans with holes in them (the trendy type) with a T shirt and I felt pretty underdressed. Of course, no one said anything, but this is a special place to eat consider that when choosing your outfit. Yes, it is expensive and maybe you can only go every now and then, but when you eat here you are not gambling with your dinner experience. I can say with certainty that the food here is at a standard of excellence worth your time and money.
Honestly this place used to be one of my favorites and has quickly become a place I dread ordering from. The reason I continue to order from them is because their gnocchi and focaccia is so good but even the quality of the gnocchi has started to go downhill. The service is meh and the website doesn't even have an accurate menu for the addison location which is another annoying piece. As soon as I find another place that does a good gnocchi I probably will not come back here. So disappointing because they have such great potential but the inconsistency in service and food quality has ruined it for me.
