My partner and I thought we'd give Ferret's and Marten's a try based on previous reviews and by virtue of the fact that neither of us had eaten a cheese fondue for upwards of 30 years and thought it time to give it another try. The owner, Tommy, who acts as sole waiter to all of the restaurants tables both inside and outside, was a scream with a great sense of humour, his lady wife's food from the kitchen was a delight and the whole experience was most enjoyable. The restaurant's prices are extremely reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend a visit. Whilst we hadn't made a reservation, I suspect that making a reservation would be a sensible precaution.
