Service was friendly, ambience was great, but you have to pay $2 cash per song you sing. I didn't have cash so they let me just tip the money on my receipt to sing. I think it's a little odd to advertise as a public karaoke bar and then charge people to sing, which is why they're missing a star. But otherwise, hot sake in a cozy bar in the Japanese mall? Count me in!
My friends and I will not be going back to Festa after the appalling treatment we received from the older male bartender last Saturday night. I was also disheartened to see that other reviews have highlighted his aggressive and inappropriate behavior, which indicates that management is not taking this issue seriously enough to resolve it.
The cocktails are good the bartenders both of them are very rude and arrogant. They will literally chuck you out for no reason. The tip mandate is 20% and they force you to pay tips, when i said I wanted to tip 15% she said please never come again to this bar. I'm never going back again. They charge you$4 for one karaoke song.
My sister and I visit Festa frequently, and we absolutely love it. If you’re looking for a lively place with regulars who can lift your spirits during karaoke, and you enjoy a great cocktail, then I highly recommend this spot. The Asian bartender with a goatee was quite unprofessional and rude. The ambiance of the restaurant would have made it a lovely spot for a date, but the unfriendly service really takes away from the experience, which is disappointing.
