this place had a great location next to the fortification. it was a nice sunny day so we decided to sit in the relaxed outdoor area. we ordered some big rosenheimer beer and bratwurst with chips. the service of our beautiful waitress was friendly and...professional the eating was delicious and the portions generous. this was the perfect place to be after visiting the fortification.

certainly an excellent location in combination with a good restaurant. service is excellent and as always very polite in Austria. we were there with a group of almost 40 people. Nevertheless, eating was served almost in the same time and was warm and tasty. make sure they have a tour in the fortification before they eat there. highly recommended.

Hier kann man mitten im herrlich historischen Ambiente der Festung eine entspannte Pause von der interessanten Besichtigung einlegen und sich mit traditionellen Gerichten köstlich stärken. Auch für eine leckere Kaffeejause der absolut richtige Ort!

the staff was very friendly and happy to speak with us in English! eating was excellent. very warm and welcoming.
