We liked to join the restaurant on a sunny but a little bit windy day. For us no problem there are outside seatings with glassy wind protection. As the kitchen opens at 5 pm, we asked to be served and be seated outside….. “Sorry we don’t serve outside and if you want to eat why don’t you go to the Hafencasino across the street “. Well that’s a statement, not really costumer orientated. On the leave we grabbed a short look at the menu, not convincing at all. Not coming back.

While working in a Bremen for a couple of months I visited here several times for lunch. They have a good menu but as we were normally tight on time we had the business lunch 90% of the times we went there. The food was always tasty and good to eat, the service could be a little slow when it was busy, as you would expect but in general was good. The place does get busy and if there is a group of more than 4 people I would suggest booking a table in advance.

The food was ok but the service was awful. We found this place by chance and we were hungry. We were met pleasantly but then it all went downhill. We waited at least 20mins from asking for our bill to receiving it.

The old fire station has been rebuild to a restaurant. We had some venison which was so nice and tender. The rosti was made of sweet potatoes. Surprisingly good. I can recommend the chocolate cake.

Food is ok. Service is medium. No visa cards accepted. Check your bill before you pay! We had 2 coffees more to pay.
