Upon arrival I was greeted by friendly smiling staff and shortly after, a warm welcome from Suzanne the owner, made this visit to Fez very inviting and a wonderful experience. Stopped in spontaneously to try their Housemade Almond Amaretti Cookies but they were sold out for the day. The friendly waiter suggested their Housemade Orange Almond Cake, and I also chose a Lamington and Carrot Cake as these are my all time faves. I have to say their desserts were amazing but their signature Housemade Orange Almond Cake was absolutely divine, totally on another level. Very bad experience unfortunately. Didn’t notice they have a 10% weekend surcharge. Then got asked if I wanted to buy a drink twice even though I already said no. The food was very plain and dry, needed much more. But the biggest issue was a little dog seated nearby yapping so loud into my ear and was so uncomfortable. The dog owners and cafe staff just choose to ignore it. Was almost going to ask to get my meal takeaway. Very disappointed visit
The staff at this restaurant were very nice and accommodating. I enjoyed sitting outside under the awning by the cafe entrance. The pastries were tempting and looked delicious. Overall, I would rate the food a 4, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5. The price per person for a lunch meal was between A$1 and A$20.

Amazing Cafe! Food and coffee were delicious. I ordered the corn and zucchini fritters with haloumi and it hit all the senses.Highly recommend this place
