Fun spacious bar, occasionally with live music and very good food. Two reasons for 4 stars rather than 5: 1) Food is pricey. Yes it's delicious, and yes it's in downtown NYC. So I get it. But still, given it's a fairly casual place, you'll find yourself spending a bit more than you'd normally want to for a casual place to eat. 2) The service is a bit slow and inattentive. I've been there while crowded and also while empty. Very disappointed did not want to believe the reviews of how bad this establishment is along with the Food, So I took the trip to it and I was flabbergasted from the bartender behind the bar he is really rude and racist be aware of the bald white guy in there…To the waitress/host all she does is be on her phone outside the establishment not wanting to be in there…waited almost 30 min for my order to be taken after my husband went to get her outside!!! Been a sometime customer here over 35 years. Good memories of bringing my girlfriend of 11 years who is sadly now deceased here, earlier in the day. We had played pool, and enjoyed a drink, each had Fish Chips. The Barman was very unobtrusive. My point here ? Fiddlesticks has survived and will continue in a great location. Also, the crowd is cool here.
Host was super friendly and accommodating I booked a table with friends to celebrate a birthday. Bar is surprisingly large and has a super cool atmosphere (love all of the wood and the two separate bars). Was nice that I could actually sit and chat with my friends, but the bar still felt really lively. Drinks were solid. Don't miss this spot!

The cocktails here are THE BEST! You can order any one of them from the menu and you won't be disappointed! The food is amazing especially for the price and the team here offer service that makes you feel like you are part of the family. It's a special vibe that I haven't been able to find anywhere else in the city. Love Fiddlesticks!
The bartender, Timmy, crafts an excellent Irish Old Fashioned using a unique homemade spiced simple syrup and generously sized ice. He also serves a delightful fresh-squeezed passion fruit cocktail. What truly stands out, though, is his engaging conversation. I highly recommend checking this place out!
This bar has an old feel to it, and it even seems to relish in this history through old photographs and decor. It also has a relatively modern feel with its music choices and mezcal-infused drinks. It's not a bad place for young people in the West Village.
My partner and I enjoyed some of the best burgers we've ever had! Our server was incredibly friendly, relaxed, and welcoming; I didn't catch her name, but she had long curly hair. We're really pleased with this place and will definitely be returning!

We had few beers, nachos and wings. Service was not bad, but surprised 20% tip added to bill automatically…not a big fan of practice.
Delicious beers and cocktails and I am glad they offer non alcoholic beer. All food I tried was amazing and their decor is a vibe.
