I was pleasantly surprised here. The location is near a roadside motel, so I really never considered stopping here before. However, my friend and I were out and about and decided to try somewhere different. I'm glad we did. The place is cozy, with an eclectic decor, but comfortable seating. The prices are very reasonable, with several options below $10. I ordered the beef enchilada plate, and my friend got the cheese enchilada plate. We both ordered a side of guacamole dip. I normally order a shrimp and steak here, so I can't reveiw on actual mexican foods but shrimp was juicy and tender. Nicely cooked. Steak was tasty enough with balanced seasoning (I'm generous on steak most of the time unless it's way over the line) the price wasn't ridiculous, interior was nice and not chaotic or anything, it looked like some cozy family place to be at. Overall, it wasn't bad and I would come back some more.

The breakfast menu is not as diverse as other places, but it is Cheeaapp and you get good portions. Breakfast tacos are 1.50 and three will normally fill an adult. Salsa is great, but beware of the green, it is sharp! Overall, the place is a great jewel for the city. The surroundings are covered and the waitresses are attentive. I would recommend to everyone to wish good food at a reasonable price.

Breakfast bag, served 0700-1100. Food is excellent and prices are low. Sauces are particularly good. It seemed more authentic to me than Tex-Mex. Located in the historic Sun-n-Pines is an additional bonus.
