The food is of poor quality and although not overly expensive is over priced for the quality. The seafood platter priced at £60 was very poor, likely all frozen as it was tough, dry and smelly. The portion is generous but this is made up of largely unopened muscles and therfore inedable. The £10 caesar salad is something that could be made by anyone who possesses lettuce and a generic salad cream dressing. The service was friendly but the time for food to arrive was too long. We were not given appropriate ways to dispose of the shell fish, the few bits of crab as above were likely old and frozen without giving us any way of cracking the shell initially. My friends and I go here for our brunches ALL the time, we have for years. We chose to do the drag brunch (we have done this many times) We can't fault the staff. The atmosphere was incredible as always. When booking we could see the food menu had changed. Not one of us in our party of seven enjoyed the food. It seemed like budget cash and carry food that was heated up. Some of our food was cold and took over an hour to come out. Such a shame as the food used to be really nice on the previous menu. Had a lovely lunch today. Excellent food, great atmosphere and lovely service from Evie. We enjoyed it very much. A really artsy interior which is fascinating. They advertise as having the best Sunday roast in Kent and I think they could well be right!
