My husband and I were excited to celebrate here on Saturday night. It had been a while since we had a night out without the kids, and we had heard great things about this place. Unfortunately, our experience did not live up to the 4-5 star reviews we had heard. The waitress seemed annoyed by our 7:45pm reservation as soon as we arrived. The sea bass risotto was delicious, but the uncomfortable interactions with the waitress took away from our enjoyment. If you're looking to dine here, you might have better luck with the early bird special. Overall, the service was a 3, the atmosphere was a 3, and the food was a 4. Dinner here costs $50-100 per person.
5th and Wine is a trendy spot in a quirky town, but it has its ups and downs. The restaurant conveniently has a wine store attached, offering a wide selection. The menu items are reasonably priced and the atmosphere is chic with high ceilings and cozy bistro seating. The service is welcoming and pleasant. The food, however, is a bit inconsistent. The mushroom garlic butter and pork bites were delicious, but the main dishes were all overly salty. The desserts were mostly dry. Despite these flaws, we still had an enjoyable time as we were celebrating a special occasion. There is definitely potential for improvement here.
Tables to small for 6 people and too high. Too much stuff on tables, wine glasses, water glasses, flowers, Salt n pepper, silverware etc. We ordered 3 charcuterie boards then dinner. Food was delicious and service good. A little pricey but ok. The food tasted great, but the table was too small for six people. Each setting had two wine/water glasses, a small bouquet of flowers, silverware, and water glasses. We ordered a charcuterie board and another appetizer plate, totaling six small plates. When the food arrived, there was not enough space to put everything. The wait staff was okay, but a bit slow. My wife and I love this place! We eat here often but tonight I had the sea bass very delicious, one of the best meals I’ve had there yet! Something on the menu for everyone. Locally owned and operated great family. Amazing date night spot. The food at this restaurant was fairly ordinary. The duck was served cold and slightly overcooked. However, the service was good and the wine selection was average. Overall, the prices were not justified by the quality of the food. Ratings: Food - 2, Service - 4, Atmosphere - 3.
