Holy goat cheese Batman! I love goat cheese and there is plenty of it to go around at this place. Girls night with four moms, this was my first time here and we had a wonderful time sitting outside, eating and lingering. The restaurant did not pressure us to flip the table even though it was a Saturday night. Our servers were attentive and gave great input in the menu. Found a tasty glass of wine on the menu and friends ordered cocktails and mocktails. All beautiful and good. We started with two apps brussels sprouts (had fig bacon and goat cheese) and goat cheese fondu. I was a huge fan of both and highly recommend. For dinner I went with the burger since the ingredients all sounded so good...
Fig delivers again! So...I'm not a big fan of chicken as It's usually dry and flavorless. I'll cook it at home occasionally but I rarely order a chicken dish when I'm out. Well someone told me to order the jidori chicken at Fig so I decided to give it a go. OH MY GAWD! Dudes? How did you make it taste like that???? It was so damn good! So a couple weeks later and I was still thinking about that dang Fig chicken! So much so that I decide to go back and try it again. Was it a fluke? Was my first experience influenced by the handsomeness and wit of my date/husband or was this durn chickadee A la Fig really as delicious as I remembered?? 2nd time around it was just as yummy. We celebrated last night with dinner, and Fig 313 continues to impress! The mussels and Caesar salad are absolutely essential; the mussels were served in a sauce that I could happily enjoy every day. They were out of the lobster ravioli, so I opted for the trout, paired with diver sea scallops on the side. I really enjoyed the scallops, but I liked my boyfriend's dish even more, which was a petite lamb rack served with butternut squash purée.
We just had the most incredible date night! Everything was truly outstanding. The combination of exceptional service, delicious food, and the perfect atmosphere made for a memorable evening. Our server, Adam, provided fantastic five-star service. We ordered the bone marrow, filet, osso buco, and crème brûlée, all of which were delicious. The drinks were excellent as well! The food is fantastic and of high quality. The patio dining area is amazing. The service is excellent, and the prices are very reasonable. The cocktails are great—delicious and fairly priced. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, the service a 5, and the atmosphere a 5.
Best food, service and ambiance in San Clemente! Fig@313 is easily our favorite for dates, celebrations or even a casual night out. Their twinkle light patio, friendly service and menu where every item is delicious is always a delightful experience. Highly recommend!
