based on reviews here I expected this to be a more pleasant visit, but that was really the perfect way to spend half a day. the host angela and others and their family are generous and knowledgeable. they greeted us in their house and business. with real style and friendliness. we had pre-booked to the breakfast, which was substantially and beautifully cooked (omelete, arepa, chorizo, bungalow, cheese and of course. coffee.) we stayed unexpected also for lunch. between the two meal times we had the complete 101 of the small coffee production of the harvest (in which we took part) for the processing of the beans that are ready to send over the cooperative into the market. this in spectacular...

my family and I visited this beautiful coffee arm to learn and learn what really is going to make a good cup coffee. we were not disappointed. this small farm is family owned and managed. andres welcomed us and explained the history of the region and its coffee. his wife angela then brought us several tassen from her own delicious coffee, brewed with various methods. Andres then showed us around the plantation, we even had to get a coffee from the plants before we are guided through the process of washing, selection, fermenting and drying the coffee. after the end of the tour, angela served us a wonderful lunch, which was mostly made with own products from the farm. (if they want to eat lunc...

A truly incredible place to visit and learn about natural small-scale coffee production. Andrés is a gracious host, and he explains everything in simple and clear Spanish so I could understand everything he was saying, even as relative beginner in the language. His farm is...beautiful, and the coffee itself in to die for. You can arrange with him one the phone the day before or the morning of, or it seems like it’s also ok to just show up as well. He offers one tour at 10 am and another at 1. We took the 12 PM public bus (chiva) and arrived around 12:30 but he welcomed us in and started the tour a little early. It’s 25 mil for the tour (40 mil with lunch maybe, but must be pre-arranged). I

jardín won't surprise me. ángela and Andrés left me with their amazing tour only speechless when you were. every minute from a to z. these are incredibly hard working people. I had the pleasure of sharing her lunch, where 99% of the...products are grown on her farm and everything is organic. andrés is extremely knowledgeable, I have learned so much about coffee making and even though I am not a coffeemaker myself, I loved learning about this product, which seems to be the second most important drink in the world in terms of quantity. thanks for this unforgettable experience! We loved this little finca. Andres and Angelica were so sweet and welcoming and we had a great tour around the farm followed by homemade pan de queso, patacones with guacamole and of course coffee. It was really a highlight of our trip to jardin...and I would highly recommend it. It was only 25,000 for the tour but apparently you could also have a gourmet meal if you book ahead which was 45,000 (tour included). We got a taxi up there because we were short of time but you can take the chiva at 12 noon for a real Colombian experience.

One of the best things I've done in Colombia. Just 3 hours bus from Medellin and 20 mins in a tuktuk; it was well worth coming to Jardin (which is also beautiful in it's own right). Andres and Angeles were so welcoming and the tour...(20,000 COP) was informative, personal and authentic. It was in Spanish but we were able to get by with our basic Spanish. We had lunch for 20,000 extra and it was delicious and the view was unbelievable! Even if your not big into coffeel, this is well worth doing!

Angela-Maria and Andrés were lovely. They showed us their farm and the process of coffee making. We got to taste coffee and they even cooked some platanos with guacamole. It‘s easy to get there by taxi and there‘s also a public transportation bus to take...you back to Jardín a few times a day. We contacted them on facebook. We‘d definitely recommend going!

We visited this finca with our guide Guillermo Nagy of Aramacao Tours. He has a close relationship with the family and was able to talk about not only the coffee harvesting process but also the economics of the business. The family goes out of their...way to make you feel at home. You leave rooting for them and this business. Réservez une table maintenant

don andrés and doña ángela are incredible hosts who invite us to their home to teach us about their process for cultivating high-quality coffee. we have learned a lot, eat delicious food, drink a rich coffee and drink into the amazing hope. I cannot recommend this experience.
