I am a frequent visitor to this restaurant and typically enjoy the delicious food and coffee. However, on my recent visit, the two cappuccinos we ordered tasted like hot milk with no coffee flavor, topped with chocolate sprinkles. It was quite disappointing. Additionally, the sausages on all three of our breakfast plates were severely burned on one side, tasting almost like ash. I hope this was just a one-time occurrence, as the staff is usually very friendly.
Sadly it was not a nice day, but having seen a tourist sign for the venue we went along. Nice rustic decor but it was cold and damp. There was only one other table being used. The staff were friendly, sadly the food offer was a bit sad, we ordered tea for two and one scone. When it arrived the tea was quite weak, but the scone was totally stale!! Really stale. It is far better to not sell anything than offer stale food
The food at this restaurant is fantastic, but be prepared to wait a bit as everything is freshly cooked! The chips are outstanding, and the bacon and Brie toastie is a must-try. The view is incredible on a nice day, and you have the option to enjoy a beer outside. After your meal, take a walk and enjoy the nearby woods.
Once a lovely barn interior but needs lots of TLC. Car park as the first impression is shabby. Choices today largely limited to sandwiches or cooked breakfast. On a cool September day, it was too cold to take coats off. Réservez une table maintenant
We sat outside on worn-out wooden furniture that was not very clean. The outdoor bins were overflowing with trash. The ice cream was tasty but the portion size was small for the price we paid.
Amazing as always- we come here often as a family and the staff are so friendly and kind. The food is such good quality and delicious. Thank you so much!
Pleasant visit but problems include very cold, very expensive £6.90 for cake and small coffee) and seemed a bit grubby.
