a little late to leave a review for work, but what can I say? fantastic! my new favourite place to drink, meet old friends and make new ones! something for everyone and even games! There is a game cube and a playstation for people to play if they want! great prices, drinks, entertainment etc. the personal is welcoming, friendly and overall great! paul, meg, matt, w, yell at! you make the place that is worth coming! definitely will be back! great security, clean facilities and great customer service, plus the games etc. are an additional bonus! they will stay fantastic youngs and girls!
This charming pub is located in the heart of Leicester and offers a fantastic selection of beers and cocktails. The menu is limited but well-crafted. The pub features a variety of seating options, including a cozy sofa area equipped with a fully working GameCube, making it a great spot to visit with friends. It's open late into the night and has a small garden out back for smokers. Additionally, there's a separate space on the upper floor that hosts parties, concerts, and club nights. The pub is situated in the historic former gas offices of Leicester, adding to its unique character.
The atmosphere here is beautiful, the range of drinks including their own quicktails, ice teas, shots and more are amazing. Seating downstairs, upstairs and in the garden area is great, the staff are friendly and make the experience even better and to top it all off the music is just great!!! I would definitely recommend this place as a night out with some friends. The upstairs hosts club nights sometimes as well I've heard and is really cozy , has a stage for karaoke and a lounge type area. All in all a great bar that I go to often when I'm in Leicester.
It was a quiet Friday afternoon at 3:00 PM, but this meant we received prompt service. The staff were very attentive, and our drinks were brought to the table. However, the men's restrooms left much to be desired—they don’t seem to have been thoughtfully designed, and the sinks could use some serious attention. On a positive note, the food was delicious, and I also enjoyed a nice selection of wine and beer. Overall, I would definitely return to this place, but I hope they read this review and have improved the restrooms by my next visit!

a great place for live music especially for the rock/alternative scene. highly recommended. I always have a good night when I go there. nice selection of drinks, eating is good and the staff are great. Moreover, there is always security at the door during the busy times of the week, so they always feel safe. in the did, the last time I visited firebug, I made the doorman aware that a situation and the treated it perfectly to make sure everyone was safe.
I've been visiting this place for years and have enjoyed the shows held on the first floor. The drinks are consistently great, featuring unique, limited-time specials with creative names and impressive presentations. The staff is friendly and welcoming to everyone. They serve food throughout the day, and it's also a dog-friendly spot!
Always have a lovely time here. There's nights for everything you could want. The food is really nice. They have comfy seats. The cocktails are nice. Definitely one of my favourite bars in Leicester. And the staff are lovely!
We really enjoy Firebug! The drinks are affordable and delicious. We also appreciate their veggie options, although there has been an incident where they mistakenly served a regular sausage instead of a veggie sausage.

I wish there had been a bar like this when I was in college. It would have been my go-to spot. It's spacious, the music is fantastic, and it stays open late.
