Firehouse Subs Goodlettsville

Firehouse has always been my go-to sub shop, but lately I've noticed a significant decrease in portion size. The subs now seem more like mini-subs compared to what they used to be. Despite still having great taste and quality, the high prices no longer seem justified. A full size Firehouse sub is now about half the size of a Publix sub in the same shopping center, yet costs nearly double the price of a half Publix sub. It's disappointing to see this change in value.

Update: pleasantly surprised and enjoyed the meal. New Yorker and Italian sandwiches today and we enjoyed the meal. Not sweet anymore and we enjoyed the sandwiches. Will be back. Decent subs but they are too sweet for me and my taste buds. Always fast and friendly service. Some proceeds go to a great cause. Sub options are good and they have interesting combinations worth checking out... but again, just too sweet for me.

The only complaint I have with Firehouse Subs is when you get a sandwich to go which I always get the Hook and Ladder the bottom piece of bread is soggy so when you bite into it all the filling comes out. I mean it literally comes out the other end. Bread is suppose to be firm and whole the filling so when you bite into it stays together. The sandwich tastes good but the bread needs to given some more thought.

The food is always good but the night manager needs to learn some customer service skills. The employees always act like their scared of him and he is not very nice. When I asked about my senior discount on Senior Tuesday he would not give it to me even though I purchased a combo as required. I’ve had one to many instances and will take my business elsewhere.

Consistently good. The service and food are consistently good each time I visit. The restaurant is clean and tidy, but it is on the smaller side. It could use more tables as it tends to get busy most of the time.

Firehouse is one of those places where you never leave disappointed. Always good, service is always pleasant. Will frequent again. I really need to try something other than the Smokehouse brisket.

I ordered a NY steamer and a hook and ladder sub. They were awesome and the service was too. I will be back. Subway your days are up.

Very tasty. The beef cheddar brisket is my fave. Didn't have to wait long even though they were busy.
