The firehouse theme is cool, and it's nice they try to support first responders. The food is good, but not good enough to justify $12 for a sandwich. Customers don't need to hear the employees complaining about another employee that apparently never shows up for work. Have that conversation in private or not at all. Its also kind of weird to ask for tips. You arent a server or waiter that has to cover lots of tables, refill drinks, process payment, etc. You run a register and make sandwiches. You ought to be paid a fair wage from the company and not ask for tips that customers have no reason to pay. Customers shouldn't be responsible for paying an associate's wage anywhere.
We wanted to order a meatball sandwich, but after a deep sigh and checking an empty container, she informed us it would take a while to prepare. I can only assume "a while" meant over half an hour. Additionally, the workers weren't wearing their masks properly, and they both seemed to have colds. So why am I giving this place a 2-star rating instead of worse? I've had better (though still not great) experiences here in the past, and the sandwich we did receive was tasty. Plus, I really appreciate the support they show for first responders. Please step up your game, Firehouse Subs, or you might find your space rented out to the next trend, or even worse… Subway!
I had a great experience at this restaurant. The subs are served hot, the toppings are plentiful, and the bread is soft. They also include a pickle spear, which is a nice touch that sets them apart from other sub shops. The place was clean, and the staff were very friendly. A medium sub with chips and a drink costs less than $10, which is a great value. Initially, I was hesitant to give it a full 5 stars, but after eating there a few times, I can confidently say it deserves all five!
Absolutely amazing! I adore this place in every way possible. Their subs are incredible, always served hot and fresh, and the staff is wonderful. I’m not exaggerating; you have to check this out. Founded by firefighters, they have a fantastic mission dedicated to giving back to the community and public safety personnel, and the food is top-notch. I will definitely be returning. The subs are genuinely delicious, but the staff needs to ensure that all orders are complete before handing them over. I went for a pickup and ordered two subs along with three kids' combos, which were supposed to include sides and drinks. Unfortunately, we received none of those extras. They didn't offer any discounts or refunds for what was missing from my order.
This restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere! As a first-time visitor, the staff took the time to go over my menu options with me. The sandwich I ordered was absolutely delicious! When I finished my meal and was leaving, they thanked me and even called me by my name. It felt very personal! I will definitely be returning. Thank you for such an enjoyable experience!
