The menu doesn?t specify what small, med large are. Had we known we would have ordered appropriately. We ordered 2 small subs and they were almost $6.50 each after tax. They were really small, maybe 3 inches? sloppy and dry and took quite awhile to make considering it was empty in there and one was literally meat, cheese and lettuce. I asked about it and was met with snark and eye rolls by the employees. I got a snarky ?sorry?. That?s what made me just want a refund. It was so snotty. They really didn?t care. The manager came out and I explained again. Instead of listening or even looking at the food, he says ?I?m not going to apologize for how we do things here?. One minute he says they?re...
We have ordered several times. We will not use the local Firehouse again. Would rather patronize the locations in Chadler or Tempe. The Maricopa location is operated quite well when the owner is present. Unfortunately it seems he no longer works weekends. Our visit this past Saturday was similar to the last four visits. We called in our order at 12:45 and arrived at 1:10. Four subs. The order wasn't ready. We were one back in line at the register but waited 10 minutes because an employee was being trained during a Saturday lunch rush? Previou visits were lost order and/or incorrect order preparation. Enough is enough. We're Good!
This location just keeps getting worse. All the pickup orders were thrown on the rack, most sideways or on top on one another. There was more than enough space for this to not be needed. Tickets were unreadable due to all the mess on them. My bag was covered in oil (no oil for either sandwich). One box was soaked and tearing. Had to ask for a new box multiple times. Both sandwiches were poorly made. It looks like the ingredients were just thrown in the box. One was supposed to be double meat and was barely one serving. Could not tell the double meat from the single... Price per person: $10–20 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
I came in last night and the staff working there had great attitudes and got my food out efficiently. Everything tasted great and fresh. The prices were a little steeper than I expected, but for the portions, it's more than worth it, imo. I recommend the turkey bacon ranch! Edit: Upon coming back the last three times unfortunately the service and sandwiches have left a bit to be desired. I hope next time it's better but I don't think I'll be back for a while : Réservez une table maintenant
Every time I visit, it's the same frustrating experience. The sandwiches take forever to arrive, the service is lackluster, and the food is either cold or dry—definitely not worth the money. You can easily make a better sandwich at home. Honestly, you'd be better off going to Jimmy John's instead. Save your money and skip this place.
