ZERO STAR REVIEW- Attempted lunch at 1400 on a WED. Host unfriendly and obviously put off by customer needing extra at welcome station. Manager walked through and told us the Host would get to us shortly. With that, he headed back to his booth in the dining room and began talking with another employee. Host finally gets us a table and we wait. And wait. Fifteen minutes and noone. There may have been ten tables in use. Two employees openly eating on the floor. Several servers walked past us like we weren 't there. After the FULL fifteen minutes without a table greeting, we walked out. The manager is now outside the front door on his phone. This is one of the worst restaurants in the area. I visited last night with a friend from Europe who appreciates good food, and I have experience working in Michelin-starred and James Beard award-winning establishments. Unfortunately, this place was a complete disappointment. The management, marketing staff, and ownership leave much to be desired. I expect Kaitlin H. will respond to this review with dishonesty and unsupported comments. I briefly worked at one of their sister restaurants, which was equally disappointing. I chose to resign after giving two weeks' notice along with a formal resignation letter out of respect for them. However, the parent company has continued to verbally attack...
Our 1st time here. Ate outside. Very good food. Lovely service. Issues: 3 bacon wrapped scallops for almost $20? Too expensive for 3, Try adding a couple more or lower the price. Baby back ribs had odd bbq sauce on it. Couldn't quite place the flavor. Not mesquite or hickory smoked. Just was in the mood for standard bbq sauce. The ribs were good though. Creme brulee, a MUST! One of the best I've ever had! Attentive and courteous staff. Nice date night. We'll return. Dietary restrictions: Need more gluten free and dairy free options.
This restaurant offers a great variety of food options, and I've visited several times without being disappointed. The outdoor seating area is especially enjoyable during the season. However, I was disappointed to find that the happy hour specials do not apply beyond the bar, particularly in winter when outdoor seating isn't an option. I love Firepoint. Something felt a little off this time around but that happens at any restaurant. The service here is exceptional. They go out of their way to make you feel VIP. We were there for Valentine's and it's busy so I think the team is rushing a bit more than usual and wants to free up tables. Just my sense. In any case, can't recommend Firepoint enough.
