Fireside Dining (deer Valley Resort)

Definitely a whole experience. The food being cooked by the fireside was unique. Everything we had was really good. Especially the short ribs desserts. We were able to do a sleigh ride during our meal which was a lot of fun unique touch. They do have nice kid options if they won't eat the food served. The coffee is amazing all the staff is very nice. They wear gloves and while some of the food I would have rather someone served instead of being an open buffet overall it was all very nice. You're definitely paying a lot for it so it's more about the experience but it was great. It was our most expensive meal while in Park City.

Where can I start; Most likely my family’s worst meal ever. Although the name is fireside and the food is served fireside all the food was cold. Overcooked salmon, burned rosti, complete lack of seasoning on all the proteins, the veal mushroom stew had no meat in it, the prosciutto was the worst I ever had, very lean and tough. The dessert station was a joke unripe strawberries, pineapple that it looked that was cut by a child. $500 worth of nothing.

We have eaten here before and it was good. We went last night and it was not good. The meats, such as the lamb, veal and short rib were chewy and we couldn’t cut through the lamb. The flavor was bland. The only good thing was the cheese. At it was $600 for 4 people. Deer valleys food has really gone downhill. It was very disappointing and we will never go back.

Buffet setup and if you are raclette fan, this place is for you! Perfect place for apres ski. Highly recommend for groups and families.
