If you have never dined at First Watch in person, I don't recommend just ordering from DoorDash or Uber Eats. It's an experience, and they are very helpful in explaining the menu and ingredients and how fresh everything is. I have been a fan of this place for years and have visited multiple locations. My go-to dish is the Parma hash, which is delicious with tomatoes adding so much flavor. Their signature bread and jam is amazing, and the waffles are crispy yet fluffy. The pancakes are also large and satisfying, and the million dollar bacon and seasonal drinks are fantastic. I would be disappointed if they ever changed. Will return, for the bread. It?s humming on a Wednesday morning, and the patrons all seem younger than us. Waiting staff is friendly and efficient, and they?re all pretty. Love their coffee and hot water thermos! I often feel a little guilty for asking hot water repeatedly. Now I can have my tea to my little heart?s content. Thank you! The only drawback is lack of fresh milk. How could a farm fresh not having fresh milk??? Did someone forget to milk the cows in the morning? Oh the food are good too: Bene Florentine and Ham Gruyere, the bread with this is heavenly good ? thick yet fluffy and flavorful. With a little more butter, I could eat a loaf, ha ha ha.
2nd Visit: Overall Great service, food, and drinks. If you want an alcoholic drink but are unsure of what to try I would highly recommend the Cinnamon Toast Crunch. It has the right amount of sweetness, alcohol and coffee, and you will not be disappointed. The egg sandwich had a little bit of everything and it was an amazing pair with my drink. First visit: Food was great! I loved the cinnamon roll that came out warm from the oven. Only complaint is usual wait time to be seated and it was cold outside so we asked the waiter if there was any way we could seat inside so she said she was going to check but never told us if it was possible or not.
I enjoyed my experience here. Had a little upstairs that I was alone, ordered and went to the toilet room. When I came back two minutes later, a family sat at my table. I insisted with my server that I could move tables and that it wasn't a problem, but it was stubborn that this was my table and had moved the new family. I usually enjoy dining at this restaurant, but the meal I received today was extremely disappointing and I couldn't even eat it. The portion size was much smaller than usual, and everything was burnt and overcooked. I will not be returning. I ordered eggs over easy, but they were fried to a crisp. And there was supposed to be bacon, but there was none to be found. And to top it off, the meal cost $18!
The woman and I had only an extraordinary experience with the service as well as the food meal we were served. Our waitress went over and over maintenance not only with our flour-related products, but also fill us with a wealth of product knowledge- helps us, smarter day-to-day decisions that are healthier, but also delicious. I recommend the Kale Tonic, I'm connected now.
