First Watch Restaurants

Overall, I will cite that the service at the St. Peters location of First Watch was very good. Since the restrooms were pretty?as you'll see from the photos I uploaded?I decided to go ahead and give them four (4) stars. Whenever I personally visit an establishment, and find that the men's restroom is on the cleaner side, I'm encouraged to give a higher rating. I would have given them five (5) stars had I not needed to send my pancakes back for a newer, fresher. But this isn't the first time I've had to do that with First Watch. It seems like that every location, or perhaps every other location, that I have to send the pancakes back because they have either been burned, overcooked, or they're old, somehow. When they brought the new batch out, it was like night and day in terms of the coloring and the freshness. I'm not sure why that keeps happening but it does. It has happened at the Clayton location once or twice, and at the Kirkwood location a time or two. But as I mentioned, the experience for the most part was positive. The server was pretty great as well. Unfortunately, I don't remember her name.

This is my second time at the Mid-Rivers site in St. Peter's MO. The first time was really busy and waited to sit for almost an hour. Over 30 minutes to get my food after the order. To my disappointment, my food was warm and cold! I don't care if the food is good and hot. I expressed my feelings to the manager who was chief today. He apologized and asked if I could give the restaurant another chance. To be fair, I decided that I would.. My second visit was Tuesday at 7:30. Very few people in the restaurant and to be completely fair, I ordered the same meal. And again the food came cold! Some of the foods were warm, but none was hot. I can't express my disappointment completely! I don't think I'll give this restaurant a third chance to give me cold food and still accuse me after my complaint. The waitress offered to have made her new, but really why bothered on this stage?! Below is how I left my meal!

In a world of overpriced, moderate, similar food and terrible service, First Watch is an unexpected pleasure. I had the choice two: roast beef Havarti sandwich with the Butternuss-Quark Bisque. It was elevated, and the staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. I love them have seasonal elements to shake the menu. One of my new favorite places. Only for me was the coffee really strong, but they have so many other things to drink. That it still gets a 5-star review in my book. We ate there a second time and it was still amazing. The pumpkin pancakes should die.

The service here is always fantastic during the busiest hours. The food is wonderful and they have a wide selection of drinks. I love their sandwiches and soups! The only reason I don't give 5 stars is their tomato soup (my favorite soup) not with the rest of their amazing menu.

Little bit of a wait. Had an Italian inspired omelette. Wasn't too bad. Very cheesy. We split a blueberry pancake was delicious. My GF had poached eggs with a Mexican flavor. Overall really good. Get there early!
