Wonderful location The fish master Gastl Café with beer garden is a wonderful place on Lake Starnberger. If you are cheap, you can see the lake a little. I became aware of the boat rental Gastl, which is located at an angle to the small road. I came to a Saturday afternoon in July 2020 and got a table right away. However, this is clear when registering in the coronary period. First table, then self-service. They are ordered and paid in the switch. I immediately got my drink and the bacon with salad was freshly prepared and brought to me. Both tasted great, and I'll see again soon.
We stopped here during our walk along the lake shore. The terrace has both tables in the sun and in the shade. There is a small playground for small children. Very friendly service and delicious fresh homemade cake. Fish sandwiches and other snacks are also available. We had a relaxing break and we would definitely come here again.
This beautifully remodeled cafe provides simple yet excellent food right next the Starnberger See. The cafe is attached to a fishmonger that provides very tasty smoked and pickled fish from the lake. There is a small playground to keep the kids occupied and good size outdoor seating area for good weather visits.
Delicious rancher fish, nice staff and appealingly furnished only unfortunately no card payment in Korona times somewhat inappropriate.... therefore only 4 instead of 5 stars....

Nice fish-shop and cafe, serving a good variety of fish-meals and cakes. Friendly and english-speaking staff. Very reasonable prices as well. Indoors and outdoors service.
Really good cake and good prices. However, they just accept cash which I think is unacceptable in 2020.
