... and that was true with the words: go to the fish mile and immediately to the first restaurant. the fishing harbour restaurant is really good, all behind it are better fish roast! so we did it and my wife and I were surprised very positiw: nice atmosphere, super friendly staff with great teamwork, very showable offer, extremely tasty and harmoniously prepared, dive in quality, quantity and presentation without toughness! to make a very nice wine selection and prices, we are used to hamburger prices to make straight joy. we have experienced a remembrance-friendly restaurant stay, pleasant, easy to relax and freeze. many, thanks for that!
right next to the police is the harbour corner . there are top chilled drinks a very nice menu that leaves no wish open. the portions are lush, fresh with much love and cheap prepared. the service is very friendly with charm. in the kitchen white the chef is good and in a few minutes he enchants a delicious food. we find it worth visiting this locally, there is a clean toilet that is pleasantly cool at hot days. the baked rolls are prepared for personal desire. we say many thanks for the beautiful time in the harboureck when we are back in cuxhaven, then let us see! we wish them a lot of success
The fish soup is extremely salty. I do not recommend this soup unless you like salt. Not much English spoken here. The crab soup is pretty good and tasty. The specialty dutch fish is different. Would i dream or crave about it? NO. The shrimp salad was fresh and okay. The potatoes were wonderful. Of course all German potatoes are great. The service was great but too bad they don't speak much English. I was wondering why people had rated this restaurant very high, i think they have slammed way too much lagers and yeigermasters to even taste the food. Enjoy!
Unexpectedly in the fish capital of Germany on the Fisherman 's Wharf , an unexpected gastronomic deligh Amazing food: Bouillabaisse and Herring Salad to start Fischteller with Halibut, Cod, Pollock shrimp and poached Cod for main courses Service with my very rusty German was great A calm, quiet atmosphere on a chilly damp evening in which to enjoy the superb food Not disappointed and proof yet again that you should always try to eat the local specialties I don 't expect to ever find myself in Cuxhaven again, but if I do, I know where to eat... the restaurant is beautifully decorated inside and outside and the services are both attentive and very nice. unfortunately we had to wait about half an hour for our heads. the fish on the fish plate was not overhanging, the clot was cold. the bratkartoffeln as well as the pommes to the meat plate were excellent. the drinks incl. coffee were great. the prices are somewhat above the price-performance ratio. everything in all it was a beautiful evening with good food.
simple formal - equipment, service, presentation, ambiente. it lacks the very easy casket of other restaurants. the wow taste of the fresh fish in the sense of comfort food but maybe a little better (fish crate about). for this are the supplements here not to beat - and we found the service flott and nice. prices of fish dishes are okay, but the drinks are a bit expensive. that is still not a fine dining, but an appealing restaurant in the fishing harbour cuxhaven.
