Got takeaway from this place about 6 months ago and it was quite good. However 6 months later we ordered a burger with the lot and a chicken burger with cheese. The chicken burger turned out to be a beef burger and the burger with the lot was just cheese, beef and lettuce. Overall the burgers also looked very wilted and dried out. It wasn't even that busy on the night. With a thai takeout, pizza and pasta place, vietnamese bakery and safeway right next to it, I wouldn't bother with this fish and chip shop.
very friendly service and good food. it is a classic fish and chip shop. their chips are perfectly cooked (the best chips for a local fish/chip shop) and like their fish. However, their potato cakes are rather very dry and tasteless, but this is in the ground what a potato cake is. this place is great if they can't decide what to eat, how who doesn't like fish and chips?
came before a bed here and was very satisfied with my fishing and chips, so this recommended the mrs and we tried it again. Unfortunately, not all that big was all fatter than I remember and the potato cakes were not even touched. as the other critic said, with a pizza place, a chook shop and Thai place (of which I tried everything), this place could be better.
