This place used to be really good and I believe it’s swapped owners the past year. The fish just isn’t fresh anymore. We don’t buy prawns or other seafood so I can’t comment on that, but I bought a piece of red emperor a few weeks ago and it looked dry in the box but there wasn’t much else there, then yesterday bought some snapper and both times they were well past fresh. Really disappointing, I can only imagine it’s a cost and supply issue. Sad cause it’s our local. Dory was the size of a potato scallop not a full fillet, and had gooey flour on out side which had to be removed as inedible as it was under cooked. Total ripoff! The scallops also undercooked, crumb inedible. Potato scallops were frozen pre packed not fresh made and also undercooked. Gave the lot to our dogs. Waste of $28 never again. I went here awhile back and didn't get much chips for the family size chips and the dim sims tasted hard and stale. I go to the Pimpama Junction fish and chips shop. They're better. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2

If you're looking for poor service and spoiled seafood, this is the spot for you. The oysters were subpar, and I've had to alert the health department. Food: 1, Service: 1.
