first visit in this beautiful family restaurant, which was very recommended by the family, which are frequent customers. they adhere to covid regulations accordingly, handsanitary at the entrance, masks worn. they use their regular menus that were beautiful and they are so easy sanitized in...plastic and what a great menu is a full of delicious decisions. the grilled healed was amazing. the fish and chips were good. someone in our family had the lever and swirl that they also enjoyed. We have visited this family restaurant several times and have always had a great experience. The staff is very welcoming and the breakfast is delicious. They offer a classic homemade Canadian breakfast with eggs, bacon/sausage, home fries, and your choice of toast. The food is cooked exactly how you like it and the prices are very reasonable - $6.99 for a full breakfast. They also offer a larger option for those with a big appetite for around $9.99. The restaurant is very clean, meeting high Dutch standards. We would definitely go back again. This is not a fancy restaurant, but if you prefer a more upscale experience, there are plenty of other options nearby.
We stopped here after leaving Toronto and we wanted a quiet restaurant where we could unwind a bit. We were beautifully surprised by the cleanliness of this place. Great menu and good service. We were very surprised to find out that this restaurant had been...here for 14 years and I have been driving northbound on this highway for many, many years and never noticed it. They do take out food as well as breakfast. Will definitely return. Perhaps this week for lunch. Thank you.
4 of us went. Never been there before. I had the Big Breakfast for lunch, one had Fish Chips, one had smaller breakfast, one has smaller Fish Chips. We all commented on how good our meals were. 3 Teas and 1 coffee. No...rush. Good Service and refill the teapots with boiling water from the kettle not just hot water. A good Menu. This is a tired & worn old place on the outside & if we hadn't been so hungry, we probably wouldn't have stopped. It's tired & worn on the inside too but the service is good & so were our breakfasts. Typical dinner fare, with very reasonable prices. I'd stop by for breakfast again & I might even be tempted to try the fish & chips one time.
