We stayed in one of the Yacht Club villas during a warm week in May. As a family of seafood lovers, we were thrilled to learn of Fishi, although were a little nervous of an on-line shopping experience. Our nerves were completely unjustified, as this fantastic local business has established a great business providing wonderful products and service as well as remarkable value for money. We bought a combination of reef fish, coral trout, large green prawns and oysters which cost approx. $120; which we thought was reasonable, especially for Hamilton which has a reputation for being expensive. However, not only was the seafood delivered on-time by a really helpful team member, but the sheer volume meant that we actually fed a family of six for dinner, then lunch then dinner again! The seafood is exceptionally fresh and wonderfully tasty and we will definitely be ordering from Fishi when we return next year; it was a remarkable find and one we hope all visitors will try - we can promise you won't be disappointed (and the value!!!)
We were recommended we try Fishi when visiting Hamilton Island. We are not massive seafood eaters but my gosh was this amazing. So fresh and amazing taste.The delivery service was so convenient. Just make sure you order during the day if you would like to be delivered for the evening as they aren't open in the evening. This was perfect for us - put the baby to bed and sit on our balcony enjoying this platter with some wine.This beautiful platter for 2 had, prawns, crab, bug, oysters, caviar and smoked salmon. More than enough for us to have leftovers for a picnic the next day.Definitely something to experience on the island.
Spent two weeks on Hamilton Island with the family and the only regret was not ordering the Fishi 'Taste of the Sea' platter early in the holiday. My wife, two kids and I ordered 3 x T.O.T.S. platters a couple of days before and rang to pick it up at about 3.30pm. Told it wouldn't be ready for at least half an hour. That's how fresh this platter was. We eat a lot of seafood and without a doubt, the freshest, plentiful and most enjoyable selection we've ever eaten. Picking up the platter, Matt
We found this contact because my husband and I were obsessed with cooking fish for New Year's Eve dinner. Fishi makes home deliveries throughout Hamilton Island, you can pay by credit card directly on delivery, delivery is on time and above all ... the fish is truly divine! If you are on vacation in an apartment or in a Bungalow (like us) and you want to take away the satisfaction, well ... it is a must try !!!
