Five Bar - Réservation de table

Bit of an eclectic feel with the mixture of furniture - bar vs vintage cafe. The staff were friendly and attentive (although it was only one guy doing bar and taking orders for lunch that day). The food is probably a bit of a miss in that the price doesn't reflect what you get. We had the barramundi and beef burger for lunch. The barra was two small pieces which had nice crispy skins but was not worth the price. The beef burger was smaller than most pubs' versions and the chips were also quite a small portion. Perhaps they're going more for snack size than lunch size.

Went for dinner. If your after a place for a drink it would probably be a good spot. Food wise not. Not only did it take ages for the food to arrive but when it did it was disappointing. Lacking flavour & presentation. Service was low throughout the night. Waited ages to be seen for a table so I found one myself, water only came at the end of our meal after we asked for it, had to ask for cutlery and drinks took ages (would have ordered two of they didn't take so long). In short go there for a drink and maybe a light snack but not dinner.

Popped by today as I was hungry and had some time to kill. The bartender was friendly and welcoming. I had a flat white which was great. Smooth milk and great flavour in the coffee. I also had the salt and pepper squid which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The kimchi Mayo worked well with the dish but had a little bit of a strange aftertaste. All in all five bar is a great little spot but likely a better atmosphere on a weekend, as I was one of only three people there today.

We went here on valentine's day. Service was very slow. We came here around 8pm. It took around 10 minutes to get us seated and after placed our order, we waited 40 minutes for our entrees. Staff were friendly and were trying their best to make us feel comfortable after waiting for the food for so long. Food was great, especially the steak! Réservez une table maintenant

Stopped in for a quick Friday lunch drink and ended up having their special of the day, a Reuben sandwich and large lager for $16. The guy working behind the bar was one of the friendliest barmen ever and the Reuben was by far the best one I had ever had in WA. We'll definitely be back.

I like this place. The bar tenders know there stuff and are very welcoming.  The vibe is great, plenty of places to sit and chill.  The tapas style menu is filled with lots of good choices. I love the popcorn chicken, the Toched salmon sashimi, and the Korean Steak Tartare

We needed a bite after a night at the Heath Ledger Theatre (Ocean Film Festival) could not find a place to enjoy dinner after the show when we came across Five Bar. Kitchen open all the way until midnight and the food is great!

Friendly staff with plenty of options to choose from. Some dishes can be quite oily but it is understandable. More importantly, with the variety and the fact that the taste is actually quite delicious Réservez une table maintenant

Great place for afternoon drinks, sun hits nicely inside. The waitress was sweet and attentive and drinks were reasonably priced - what more can you ask for!?

Love the steak tartare. Nice casual, relaxed dining. Not pretentious. Always a good place to go to when we're stuck for ideas to catch up with friends.
