Four of us visited on Friday. My 2 sons (14 12) both had burgers chips and both were unwell later that night one is still physically ill. Myself my nephew only had milkshakes and we were both fine. No doubt in my mind it was Five guys as we had nothing else. The fact that 2 out of 4 (and that being the 2 that actually ate) fell sick almost immediately after speaks volumes. I'm curious if anyone else fell sick after that night?
I was disappointed with my experience. The fries were not crispy as I had hoped, although there were plenty of them. The burger was too large, and having to choose all the toppings was a hassle. Additionally, I paid £10 for a burger in a bun with fries, which I found to be overpriced. I almost bought a milkshake as well, but it was an extra £5. Overall, I was not satisfied and may not return.
I recommend visiting this restaurant if you're okay with waiting 25 minutes for a single burger. Personally, what bothered me more was seeing people who ordered after me receive their food before me. After complaining, I was told that the burgers were still cooking. If I had paid for the expensive burger, I would have walked out.
We both had burgers and fries, the food itself tasted OK, however, we both ended up with food poisoning. One had it for 3 days then other still has it after 10 days! There was no doubt the takeaway was the cause of the food poisoning as no other food had been consumed prior to or after the take out. Réservez une table maintenant
The Five Guys chain is just fantastic. The best burgers I have ever tasted, the restaurant is a good size, nice and clean, the staff are helpful and friendly the only small downside is the price of the food but this is dictated by the chain not the inividual place.
Philster was incredibly helpful with providing a high chair and went above and beyond to ensure everyone was satisfied. While everything was as expected, his exceptional service truly made a lasting impression.
Absolutely terrible service from the staff .ordered via just eat and failed to deliver our food .They are saying its jut eats problem and just eat are saying its Five Guys at fault .now £30 out of pocket
Walked in and the place stank of old grease . Ordered a cheeseburger and fries … £15.90 yes £15.90 … so overpriced. Sunday lunchtime and only 3 tables occupied!.. cost of living crisis has kicked in ! Réservez une table maintenant
Had a take away got a grilled cheese sandwich £5!!! and its half the size of my 12 year olds hand and it tastes like plastic.
