I really enjoy Five Guys, Burger and Fries because I am a fan of burger-style food. However, I was disappointed to find that the restaurant served warm bottles of Budweiser. There were too many hipster beards and not enough staff who took pride in their work. The prices were high for the level of service provided, and the atmosphere was lacking. It felt like a blast from the past with Wimpy making a comeback from the 70s. However, the food and beer were served quickly. In hindsight, I should have gone to the Burger King nearby where the service may have been better for the price. Your mileage may vary.
I do not think myself especially demanding, but I almost feel like I've been robbed. A consequence of having not carried out my research beforehand! £14.95 for an small, average hamburger, fries, and flat coke? Served in an environment inferior to Burger King. I do not get the hype. They must be absolutely raking it in. Stick with Burger King or if you want to pay more find a good indie place.
Restaurant was tidy, staff weren't very friendly, took our order and didn't see them again, might want to reconsider a career in customer service or front of house if they have issues with facing customers, chips were nice although too spicy, almost 10 hours later and my mouth still feels on fire from the cajun fries, pertain sizes were decent now although I couldn't eat it all.
We stopped here for a light lunch. The restaurant was pretty empty and the staff thought we did not order enough and said they might not serve us! My husband had to justify the size of our order (burgers, hot dog and drink) while they considered it. When we got the food it was excellent but with this attitude and the high end prices I wonder of this chain will survive.

This restaurant is a complete waste of money. The drinks machines were not working, the chips were thin and tasteless, and the burgers were lacking in meat. I wouldn't even feed this to my dogs. We spent £75.50 for a very basic meal, and you get more meat in a Big Mac.
Probably the best burger and fries I have ever tasted, the staff are always nice and cheerful, I have not once been disappointed by five guys food, whether it’s the portions, the texture, are just the overall atmosphere, five guys is amazing!
Five Guys' newest location in Newcastle is the largest one I have visited. The restaurant features two levels of seating and large windows upstairs, providing great views.

yummy and good location !! enjoyed the food n milkshake. but should not have to pay £40 for 2 meals, seems extortionate haha
While the burgers are tasty, I do believe they are quite expensive considering their size.
